I recently read the Feb/March 2007 edition of NAWBOtime, the national newsletter for the National Association of Women Business Owners. I was very intrigued by an article written by sales strategist Joanne Black, America's leading authority on referral selling. In this particular article, titled "Harness the Power of Referrals", Joanne talks about a woman's selling advantage with regards to building, maintaining and nurturing relationships.

Intuition plays an important role in the big scheme of things, even according to Joanne Black. Here's a paragraph from her actual article.

"Selling is about building, maintaining and nurturing relationships, and as women, we have a remarkable advantage. We are great at making connections, asking insightful questions, and finding creative solutions to problems. We do this every day in our personal lives and easily transfer this skill to our business lives. We often get insight feelings about people upon meeting them. Yes' it's Intuition. When we trust it, we soar."

Here's a link to the full article.
